At 3am, your nursery has one job: keep you upright, supported and just awake enough not to lose a muslin. A recliner nursing chair either makes that job bearable or quietly sabotages it. Choose well and you get a comfortable perch for a year of feeds. Choose badly and you’ve bought a very expensive lumbar-pain … Read more
Picture the scene. It’s 3 a.m., the baby has finally gone heavy in your arms, the muslin is out of reach and the cot sits annoyingly behind your left shoulder. A baby’s clothes, nappies, muslins and toys then use wall height instead of precious floor space. Fabric, plastic or wire-framed, they can be rearranged, added to or split between rooms as your child grows. That flexibility is the … Read more
Babies travel light, apparently. Then the muslins arrive. And the spare sheets, the nappy mountain, the “just in case” sleepsuits in three sizes, and the carrier bag of hand-me-downs from your cousin.
